Main responsibilities
- Define project scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams: R&D, field engineers, marketing, clients, and suppliers
- Plan and manage installations, commissioning campaigns, and sea trials (logistics, permits, resources)
- Drive stakeholder communication: regular updates, status reports, escalation of critical issues
- Compile deliverables: project plans, risk logs, test reports, user manuals, closure documentation
- Identify further commercial opportunities and liaise with the sales team
- Write and follow up national and international grant proposals
Field Technician
Are you a hands-on electro-mechanical technician who thrives in dynamic environments and loves seeing technology come to life at sea? Then this opportunity might just be your next adventure!
Main responsibilities
- Installing MAHI systems on various vessels (sensor units, computing hardware, power integration), physical installation and cabling
- Software configuration, tuning of control algorithms, and sea trials.
- Participating in on-water tests, validation campaigns, and client demonstrations
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues during field operations
- Collaborating with R&D and operations teams to improve reliability and performance by looping back your observations from the field to the development team
Skipper
MAHI is looking for master to navigate our remotely operated test vessel, the Mahificent!
Main responsibilities
- Autonomous vessel tests: Ensure safe departure from the dock, stay aboard during trials, and support on-site crew.
- Client demonstrations: Represent MAHI on the water and help the tech team ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Supervision: Monitor on-board systems and communicate with the control center.
Software engineer-AI perception
MAHI is looking for a capable software developer to join our software development team to develop state-of-the-art AI & ML algorithms related to vessel perception and control systems.
Main responsibilities (R&D team)
- Design, implement, improve, test and deploy AI & ML algorithms and deep neural network architectures for object identification & classification, object pose and distance estimation and weather identification
- Train deep learning models using real and digital twin data to achieve robust perception in challenging conditions, such as poor lighting/dark and different weather situations (rain, fog, snow)
- Evaluate potential perception solutions and make design trade-offs and decisions based on customer requirements
- Develop and use modern software engineering techniques to implement high-quality, well-tested software
- Join the R&D team and work with field engineering team and Integration and Test team to evaluate, deploy and continuously improve your software
- Engineer and ship high-quality, reliable software that will be deployed to operational vessels
