Working at MAHI

At MAHI, we don’t hide what we stand for. Our culture is built on three values that shape everything we do: pursuing impact, creating together and bringing passion to the work every single day. We focus on meaningful outcomes, we rely on each other to deliver them and we bring energy because we believe in the mission.

This is the standard we hold ourselves to and we’re building a team that lives these values, not just agrees with them. If this resonates with you, read on.

Vacancies at MAHI

Talent Acquisition Manager

We’re growing fast and we need someone who makes sure we always bring the right people on board.

As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll work directly with our founders and team leads and shape how MAHI hires. You’ll own the full headhunting and recruitment cycle – from understanding what a role truly needs to sourcing the right candidates to the moment a candidate onboards. You’ll work as a trusted partner to our founders on every hiring decision while building the processes that will grow with us.

Forward Deployed Engineer

As our Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll be owning the software layer end to end. You integrate our system into complex, imperfect environments. You write the code that makes it all work together. You don’t just deploy, you shape the product in the field. Side by side with captains and operators, you test on the water, debug live systems and build what is missing in real time. Back in Mechelen, you stay responsible for what you shipped. You monitor systems, resolve issues and turn field learnings into product improvements. This is not a support role. It is where the product becomes real.

AI Engineer (Perception & Edge AI Systems Engineer)

Are you a top-tier graduate with a passion for AI, edge computing and real-world impact? We are hiring an AI Perception Software Engineer to help autonomous vessels see and understand the world in real time.

As an AI Perception Software Engineer you will design and deliver models and systems that allow our vessels to understand the world in real time. You will work with advanced AI models including multi headed neural networks and you will push performance on hardware with finite resources. You will also develop anomaly detection approaches that improve the safety and efficiency of maritime autonomous systems.
